I have a Samsung A237 cell phone and a Dell PC with Windows Vista. I just bought a USB cable that should have allowed me to connect my cell phone to my PC. However, when I connect them, my computer says it needs to locate driver software, and asks me for the software disk. Does anyone know where I can find this software disk, or if I can download it anywhere (for free hopefully- already paid for the USB)? My cell phone is connected to my computer and it charges, but I want to transfer pictures and audio from my phone onto my computer. Is this possible?

connect the usb cord from you phone to your computer, if there is a program that came with ur phone use that to, and then see what happens, if that does not work, if you have a data plan upload ur pics online from your phone and then access them on your computer, if none of that work, contact verizon for help p.s. happy birthday!

Have you added memory card to your cell ?

If yes then connect it to the computer-You will be prompted in your mobile to select the mode (like data storage, print & media, etc.)

Select Data storage.

Then you will be able to transfer any song, wallpaper,Video etc.

If you have no memory card then you can't transfer the data.
