I bought a new version of microsoft office a week ago and it doesn't work properly. Every time I try to open a word/powerpoint file, the computer just freezes. I have no idea where to begin to fix this problem. I just got suckered into paying $30.00 for some program that claimed to fix computer errors and of course it didn't fix the problem. Any suggestions?? Please help! Thanks

"I bought a new version of microsoft office a week ago"

If that's true, call Microsoft Tech Support. If not true, call them anyway.

Are you running Vista as your OS? I have the same problem with Vista and Office - they don't like each other.
