Hi all,

I am looking for a Math application ( preferably opensource) that I can use to create lessons. I am teaching basic arithmetic thru basic geometry. I have tried the Math tool on MS Word but it is too time consuming. I am looking for something more straightforward.

Also, if there are any math databases for teachers that are free to access for resources/lesson plans, etc. I would appreciate a link to this too.

Thanks

Does it have any sensible application in actual existence? Of reason and it is not basically upload, subtract, multiply, divide that are substantial. Trigonometry must be clever for fixing layout issues and different variety of Maths must be clever for layout.

This application would work for geometry. It allows you to have sliding bars for equations. You can move the slider in real time and see what effect it has on your outcome.

I haven't used this one yet but it works like mathlab.

Well, im not sure what you mean, but if you want something that solves equations and shows the steps, then WOLFRAM ALPHA is ur solution... and its online, so no need to install!

Pretty easy, just type ur equation and there is a button to "show steps" pretty cool!
