Would you upgrade to IE 8 if you had an older Win XP PC? Will it run slow?

Im thinking IE 8 requires a faster operating sys & extra memory.

I think it runs faster. I have an old PC running XP and the computer is very slow but upgrading to IE8 runs faster than the older version of IE.



There are some faster web broswers out there but they arnt significantly fast.

IE8 is faster than Mozilla Firefox.

Chrome is the fastest on my old XP computer. The program launches faster and the web page load quicker.

Opera has a web browser that is made to run web pages fast. I am not for sure what it is called im sure a little research on opera.com you will find that specific web browser that runs very fast.

I think you can upgrade to IE8 though you have an older Win XP PC. If you are afraid that your pc may become slow, You can install some software to optimize your pc. Most of the optimization soft wares can clean up the redundant files in the registry of your pc and can deal with many other problems. It can speed up the pc even though it is very slow.

IE 8 is not ready fro prime time just yet. Even with newer PCs people are having problems. You are better off to wait if you really want to use IE.



I have been using Mozilla FireFox for a few years now and I like it so much better. I do still run across a site that I have to use IE for but it is very rare.

properly, you're able to do format and reinstall XP get greater RAM, and in case you could, then a sparkling CPU and a greater ideal photos card. there's no application in this international which could velocity up your application, have faith me, i be responsive to, i attempted all of them! Btw, I relatively have previous Pentium 2 with Win ninety 8, and it relatively is quicker then my new computer with XP. in case you're actually not using information superhighway on that computer, then do away with the internet card, it could make your computer as properly quicker (my W98 did, 5x).
