Would a computer genius please answer my desperate plea for help?

I am trying to install Photo Explosion Deluxe 3.0, but it keeps being interrupted by this so-called "Runtime error R6034". This is what is says: "An application has made an attempt to load the C Runtime incorrectly. Please contact the applications Support Team for more information".

How do I fix it?
I have absolutely no idea where to start!
And I know by contacting the "Support Team" won't really solve much. I need a computer genius ASAP to solve my dilemma so, I won't have to buy a new Photo Explosion Deluxe 3.0 AGAIN! (Which F.Y.I. is $50.00)! HELP ME PLEASE! =[

This is a problem in the installation script of the software. Unless one of their developers are on hand here in Yahoo Answers, it's not likely that you will get that solved here.

Why is it a problem to contact the developer's support team? After all you already paid for the software. They should supply the support.

1) Please make your post title relevant to the question



2) Short of rewriting the installer routines, a genius or not won't be able to help you. It may be a flaw in the installer software, it may be something wrong with your Windows, or a conflict with some other software you have installed. We just can't tell.



Does your computer meet the minimum standards for the software (printed on the package or instructions)?

3) Contact the software manufacturer. They are the only ones equipped to help you or to replace the software.

You dont need an genius, just more information regarding your current computer setup, ie, what version of Windows for a start.



The error you are getting are generated from the installer, so points to a softwae issue but this can lead to many many possibilities.

compleatly uninstall the program useing windows add and remove programs in control panel

run REGEIT and make sure Photo Explosion Deluxe 3.0 has no entery

run CCleaner get it here free http://www.ccleaner.com/

clean everything (ok you can save cookies)

restart computer ,hit ctrl+Alt_Delete turn off all running apps.

then try to install it

most run time errors come from

a: doing something while trying to install something ie ram crash

b:a screwy regestery entery

most newspaper uses quark express, lotus notes and a few other desktop publishing packages, like serif/coral since these programs contain all the features designed for creating a newspaper, using all the word warp features for around text or pictures. and all the fonts and text styles. hope this helps.
