Hi i downloaded Windows Vista OSX 2009 because a friend suggested I get it. It's annoying me now and I wanted to uninstall it but it wont uninstall it says it uninstalled correctly but it never really does. Their website said it will uninstall and if that doesn't work I can use a restore point but vista replaced all of my older restore points from before I downloaded it. What can I do?

Well sadly there's nothing that you can really do. because if you went from XP to Vista, all the system files got replaced with Vista system files and they're still gonna be there no matter what. i had a similar problem with it came to upgrading from XP service pack 2 to XP service pack 3. SP3 had it's problems for a while and i went to uninstall it and my Operating System wouldn't work right until i installed SP3 back. They eventually worked out the kinks in SP3 and it works fine now. what i had to do at the time was use my SP2 cd and reinstall XP all over again. So basically if you're wanting to switch back to XP, get out that Restore Cd and wipe out the whole Operating System. It's a pain to do that, but lesson learned. but i do caution you that if you're worried about photo's and software with products keys make sure you have them on you before you do this. now you can make a cd back-up with your photo's before you proceed or put them on an external hard drive or flash drive if you have the space.

I currently still have XP, i don't have the money to rebuild another computer and buy a new Operating System to upgrad to Vista or the new Windows 7. but i did find this Transformation Package that is well liked by many that gives XP the look and feel of Windows 7 without the worry of messing up the OS. but what i did, was make a backup first and then proceeded with installing the software. I like the transformation package. i have the link to it in the source site below.

Apple utility (Mac) can basically artwork on Mac's. besides the shown fact that, MS living house windows (a minimum of XP) can now artwork on Mac's, yet on condition that the Mac has an Intel Pentium chip in it. Dell isn't Apple/Mac appropriate, so Tiger will probable no longer artwork on it. Vista isn't a workable decision for many computing gadget and Laptops. consisting of a few Mac's. Vista won't completely artwork except you have the ideal hardware. alongside with a WDDM authorized pics card with a minimum of 256 MB RAM (512 MB will run extra beneficial), 2 GB RAM and a twin-center processor. a lot of people have been disillusioned that Vista isn't working properly with their modern-day structures, even nonetheless they meet the minimum standards, and Aero won't artwork in any respect. without the above advancements, Vista works only as though it is living house windows XP, yet with much less effective components.

Have you tried Restarting your computer since your uninstall operation. With Flyakite OSX (the XP equivalent of what you have) it took a couple of Restarts for the thing to disappear

Save your pennies in a jar and buy a Macintosh, or make friends with an angry computer nerd and get them to clean up your computer and put either Linux or a "gifted" copy of Windows XP on there.
