Well, I know how to make a cd but my computer won't let me! Since my brother kept installing things on my computer, he messed things up. When I go to Windows Music Player, usually there's an option to copy music tracks to a cd, but it doesn't say that anymore! What Happened!!!! I wanna make a CD but I can't!!!!!! PLEASE HELP!!!

Try a system restore prior to your brothers messing around.

Or Reinstall WMP.

Sounds like he switched to and older version of Windows Media Player. Do you know what version you used to have? Probably 10 or 11. Its easy, just go to the Microsoft website and check for updates . . . it will do a scan and find out what is installed on your computer. You should be able to install the latest Windows Media Player (11, I think).

You can also find out what version you have by clicking on Start, Settings, Control Panel, then go to Add/Remove Programs . . . arrow down and find Windows Media Player . . . it will show what version is installed on your computer. Don't delete anything here or it will remove it from your computer . . .

Well, you can use that.

There should be something that would allow you to burn CDs...

Make a playlist, and export your playlist to the burn category...

I think thats how that works...

or you can drag and drop files into the D: drive, and create a CD that way. You'll have an option to make it an audio CD or a data CD...

One of those ways should work.

I would download itunes and burn it thorugh there. You will need to import the cd into itunes and then burn it. I hope this helps.

PS system restore to before your brother started working on it. It will probably make him mad though. lol!
