Yes, you can create PDF from Word 2007 with the "Save as PDF" function. But I want to remind you that if your files is more complex with pictures, graphics, spreadsheet...you may fail to get jumbled mess.

So I recommend you one which is more professional in PDF creation, Word to PDF converter. You may have a look and try. It has a trail version for free.

Hope it helps!

Yes. You can use Microsoft Save As PDF add-in.

Btw, if you still need to edit this converted pdf on mac, you can use some pdf editors like the one below. A good pdf editor in free beta version.

Word's save as PDF feature works perfectly. Ignore all the spammers trying to lure to some web site or other or trying to sell you useless software. Adobe Reader is just a reader and has nothing to do with Word. Word 2007 has a built-in ability to save in PDF format.

Check and see if your version of Word allows you to "Save As" to a PDF file. If not, check out this free add-on from Microsoft:

Edit:

Alternatively, I use the CutePDF Writer (http://www.cutepdf.com/), which installs a new "printer" on your computer. All you do then is select the CutePDF as your printer, and it saves it to a PDF for you. This is good if you want to save things in PDF from somewhere other than Word.

You can use a tool called cute pdf (http://www.cutepdf.com/products/cutepdf/writer.asp) download and install and then in word click on the ''Office'' Menu and click print. Then from the printers choose cute pdf. It will then ask you where you want to save the pdf.

Use Nitro PDF reader instead of Adobe. It does much much more.
