If you have a font file (you can usually see if it is by the icon it displays, like a letter or multiple letters), you can copy it (or multiple) to the folder

C:\Windows\Fonts

(this is the same in both Windows XP and Vista)

If you paste, the computer will automaticly install the font(s). It might ask you for an overwrite if the font already exists in the folder, but that is ok's just say yes.

It will just copy the font. It will seem that nothing has happened, but you can just start up Word or another text editing program and you'll see that the font is now available.

After that the font is ready to use. If you are using a program like Word or Photoshop, you might want to restart if the font doesnt display immidiately. And if that doesnt work you might want to restart the computer all together, but that is almost never the case.

I hope this helped

fist receive your fonts (to an section you're particular to discover - be sure the fonts are not in a zipper folder!) then flow to the administration panel From there there should be a Fonts folder - double click it and also you ought to work out a catalogue of all of your latest fonts. Then click document then set up NEW FONTS. -- browse to the position the position you downloaded the hot font(s) by ability of clicking the Drives then open the hot font and click ok. you received't could restart the computing device - in basic terms open up a note record and choose the hot font and initiate typing to verify if it fairly works i wish this enables

All you have to do is uncompress the .rar or .zip file, take the .ttf file and cop into the windows fonts folder. It is then installed.

Some apps immediately see the font, others require a reboot.

Go to start bar, click search. type the word "fonts". When you see the fonts folder come up, put the fonts in there.

Ok. You should have a .ttf file. All you have to do is open C:\WINDOWS\Fonts and drag that file in there.

I think it would be the easiest, if you're downloading, to save the ttf file on your desktop and then open the C:\WINDOWS\Fonts folder. Click and drag. Easy.
