Need help changing a file type?

Question

I made this slideshow using windows movie maker and i need to change the file type to a video but it will only let me save it as a "Windows Movie Maker Projects (*.MSWMM)." The file needs to be changed to a video type or else it won't work on this screen thingy i have. So please help if you could.

Slideshows are usually program dependent unless you purchase a program that allows you to compile your work. I'm sure Windows MM won't allow you to do this so the only way to watch you show is with MM.

Under File, select "Save Movie File". This will save the move as a .wmv file.



If your .wmv video doesn't play on your computer either, you could convert it to a .avi or something.



You could use an online coverter like http://www.zamzar.com/ (this will email your converted video to you), or you could find some conversion software.
