Download them(VST)>put them at (C:\Program Files\VstPlugins)

,start FLStudio and right click on FPC....and>Insert>More>Refresh>chose them>close> and right click on FPC....and>Insert>there you ge more sound...OK

2.(B)Press F7 or right click on the instrument that you want to see at piano roll on...and chose Pinoroll on...make sure that pattern you selected is the right one....and make sur that you chose Switch Pattern On....

Note...

If your sound truck (imported music or audio clip)is abit hight or low...go to "Master pitch " and get the tone you want.....

1- in the upper menu bars you will see an icon, (it's next to your news) (i'll try to describe it ;D)

it's like an arrow above a line with curled edges :D you will see all kinds of drop down menu's in which you can select the things you want to download (if u have the free version , only blue sounds will be available!)

2-a) Assuming you mean taking a random mp3 file and pick like only the piano out of the song . i have to say that that is impossible . only trying to make the same sound with an instrument from FL studio itself is possible

b)If you have a Fruity loops file and you want to change parts of the song can be done in the playlist, there should be all kinds of pink blocks in a pattern, if u change a block's place and play the song , you will hear that the song has changed.

3- getting 2 songs at the same speed means lining up their BPM (beats per minute ) if u set a song to a higher BPM it will go faster but also play faster and sound higher witch mostly completely messes up your song. If u have a bit of a music collection , you can go and search 2 songs with the same BPM. A good software for seeing the BPM is the "MixMeister BPM Analyzer" , it's free and fast!

once you have found 2 songs with the same BPM , you can mix them together. you can also adjust the speed of a song with the little thingy next to your play stop & record button the higher u put it the faster it will go.

Hope it helps you !

(sorry for my english , it's not my primary language ;)

Although there are artists who use Linux for composing and creating music, most use either Mac OS X or Microsoft Windows instead. There are not as many music applications available for Linux, as there are for Mac OS X or Microsoft Windows. Software which is intended for Microsoft Windows will not run on Linux or Mac OS X, at least not by default. You can install Microsoft Windows on a Mac via Boot Camp for example if you require certain applications which only exist for Microsoft Windows. Emulators and applications such as Wine cannot replace an entire operating system such as Microsoft Windows, so if you plan on using Linux, then use applications which are intended for Linux. If you wish to use Cakewalk, you will need to install Microsoft Windows. Ubuntu Studio is an altered version of the Ubuntu operating system. Ubuntu Studio is not an application and therefore cannot be installed as an application. Installing Ubuntu Studio requires you to install it from CD, DVD, USB stick or USB drive. Your current installation of Ubuntu will be overwritten, so make sure to backup your personal files before installing Ubuntu Studio. Ubuntu Studio simply contains various free of charge music applications. My advise to beginning music producers, stay clear from Linux. Go for Microsoft Windows XP, Microsoft Windows 7 or Mac OS X Snow Leopard instead. Fruity Loops is a kids toy in my humble opinion. You would be better of with something like Steinberg Cubase, Propellerheads Reason, Apple Logic or my personal favourite Ableton Live for example. Cakewalk is fine too. Once you got your groove on, invest in a proper sound interface by brands such as Edirol, Tascam, EMU, M-Audio, Novation, et cetera and proper monitor speakers such as the Rokit Powered series by KRK, which offer great value for money. Good luck with your music!
