Question:
Limewire won't connect (not a firewall problem)?

I have been using Limewire for years without a problem connecting, but today, right after I updated to the newest free version, it won't connect at all. It just has one tiny green bar and says "Limewire is currently connecting to the network" forever and when I search for something, no sources pop up.

I know this isn't a firewall problem because I checked. Limewire is listed as "All Access" and "Allow" on both my Windows firewall and my McAfee firewall. Also, I'm on a DSL connection through a wireless router.

Is there any way to get it to connect without reinstalling the software?

I had that problem a few weeks back, i had to remove limewire altogether and downloaded it again

Download the older version that you already had not the newest verison as i think the new one has a glitch or something...it's happened to a few people i know that downloaded the new version.

Good Luck =)

Its been going in and out on me to. I checked some forums and we are not the only ones. Try uninstalling all together and then go back to the older version.
