A specific year would really would have helped.
The story goes like this mircosoft was asked to make graphical interface ("WIMP" for mac) by the macantosh "apple company". bill gates made an aggrement that it will use it commercially. a that time windows 1 and mac interface was alike it might be in the begining that maybe windows first version were compatible with mac or made especailly for mac comp. after that apple stop mircosoft to make os for mac and made there own, were microsoft started to make os for ibm compatibile, if oin those days ur boss got lucky he might have used that OS "but it was not called windows at that time"
or maybe he there was a program named "windows" for mac computers for some graphical works, he might have confused with that software.
there is a posibility that he just migt be bulffing.

He Was more than Likely useing an x86 Emulator and even was only able to get a low grade emulation from a high powered Mac, So if it was Windows Dos/95/98/98SE/ME then yes, its possible.. But Nt/2000/XP and what not... Not likely.

There is a program called Virtual PC for Mac, and it allows you to run a Windows-style computer on your mac. It comes up in a seperate window. So yes, it was possible.

It's possible... there is a program available called VirtualPC that allows you to run a windows session in your Mac OS.

No it recently happend and the person who got it to work got a huge contract for it. So unless your boss was ahead of the game I doubt it seriously.

Windows runs on x86 machines, not on Mac hardware.
If he is your boss, then boss is always right. :)
Believe it or not..
