I'm trying to rip my DVD "Death Note" onto my laptop and i'm having issues with it, every time i try to rip the DVD it turns out all pixelated and skipy, and i don't know what to do. So if some one could please help me out here or maybe refer me to a different DVD ripping software that would work.

You can try again to copy it as DVD folder and drag the generated Video file to your Media video player to watch. It it can be normally played, so that copying process is good. If not, don't continue burning process and save your blank DVD.

Different DVD have different formats. Commercial DVDs, TV shows, Training DVDs, DVD or blu-rays are different. You can contact their support staff and wait for updates. If you need it for urgent, you can download free trials of other program if that helps.

I know a software from a famous download center, you can have a try if that helps

I always use Tipard DVD Ripper.

It can remove the protection and convert it to other format legally.

It can easily rip dvd to MP4, H.264, AVI, MP3, WMV, WMA, FLV, MKV, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, 3GP, 3GPP, VOB, DivX, Mov, RM, RMVB, M4A, AAC, WAV, etc.

It also has strong editing functions of trimming, cropping, effecting and snapshot. It can merge your selected chapters into one file.

It provides more settings for you to choose such as sutitle and audio track and the parameters for the converted audio and video.

Open source is usually not as good as paid staff. May be you should get yourself a paid DVD ripping software.

mess with the bitrate (put it at 5000 Kbps), mess with the framerate (put it at either 23.975 or 29.97), if that doesn't work, get a different ripping program (I do not have reccomendations, my dad is the tech guy).
