I have java installed on my computer, it's enabled and upgraded to the latest version, but when I go to play games onlint that require java; it tells me that java is not found or not working. I have already done the basics. Upgrading to the latest version, going to internet tools and make sure it's enabled, removing it, and installing it again. Well basically I've done the basics.

In IE, go to Tools, Internet Options, Advanced tab and scroll down to the Java section and tickmark the "Use 1.6.2 (version changes with each update) for applet". Click Apply, Click OK and reboot (a reboot is required for some computers for the settings to stick).

If you are using Firefoxgo to Tools > Options > Content > Enable Java
