Is there a limit on how many times a particular product key can be used?

In other words say i use a key on one computer, but then use it on a different computer and then no more.

some commercial keys are used. If you buy a license for a site, it can be used only so many times before you have to buy more keys.

If you are looking at the legal aspect of this and you are doing this illegaly, i would be careful, hackrosoft will keep its' 'big brother' eyes on you. The more you use a key, the more likely it will be found out, just find a good keygen or a good wormed copy :\

You should be able to reuse the key on the same computer. When you first installed it, it registered information about that computer with Microsoft. When you do the reinstall it should be able to tell that it is the same computer that was already registered and will let it reinstall and reactivate. If it fails, it will display a phone number for Microsoft. Call the number, explain what you are doing, and Microsoft can clear the old registration fro you so the number will work again.

Generally, when you buy Windows &, you can use it only on one computer, unless the license itself allowed you to use it on more than one computer. This is the answer provided at the Microsoft site to your question:

"You cannot use Windows on more computers than the Microsoft Software License Terms allow. Usually, the license terms allow the Windows product key to be used on one computer. If you use the installation disc to install Windows on a second computer, you must buy an additional product key to activate the second installation."

Hey, i hope you choose Go2keys.com since they are the best online site i ever meet.

days ago, i visited this site recommended by tomshardware, and bought my windows 7 pro key.

however, i encountered a problem. the key failed to work on my original DVD. i sent the screenshot to them. they replied to me in 20 mins.

besides, they provided the download link of 7 pro to me FREE.

very appreciated. the key worded at the first try after i burned a new dvd. great work! strongly recommended.

You can only use it on one computer, Windows is registered to the computer not the user, once it is registered to a computer you can't install it on to another computer, if you do MS will disable both systems and you will not be able to use that copy again, All MS software phones home every month. telling Mr MS what you have on your computer. any illegal software will be deleted, Now you know so don't pirate software or music,

if you want to be easy, you can just send an email to windowspremiumkey#yahoo.com .
