in terms of looks and functionality i'd say Linspire [its got the unique click n run feature which is similar to windows ]. however, i'd suggest you go for ubuntu or openSUSE as they are better options.

You should be looking for stability and support in Linux distros, not looks. All Linux distros can be later tweaked to look like what you want it to. There are many themes at gnome-look.org and kde-look.org

Yes- LXP is one-

and most of the current KDE versions can be twisted to give you the appearance of Windows. But that's where the similarity ends

if you want something similar looking you can use a theme

For a windows user i recommend ubuntu hardy heron, it is very easy and responsive and greatly customizable

yeah,use ubuntu- www.ubuntu.com after install,go to appearance and use redmond as the theme

openSUSE 11.0 with KDE 3.5 http://www.opensuse.org/

I use it and it's fantastic, much better than Windows.
