Envirnment variable is only which will be predifned the path. In linux it can be set using setenv. The following are some of the variables. If you set path to a directory you can excute programs under that directory from any path.

If you type an executable program name. first it will look in present directory than it looks in all directories mentined under path. By using environment variable you are customizing the environment to your req.

Sample environment varibles are as below

TERM=vt100

HOME=/var/emhome/admin

SHELL=/bin/csh

LOGNAME=admin

USER=admin

PATH=/bin:/sbin:/usr/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/libexec:/etc

EMUSER=admin

PWD=/var/emhome/admin

BLOCKSIZE=K

MIBS=ALL

TERMCAP=vt100

it incredibly is large, yet i think of the questions became why is it an income and turn away that some organisms can produce the two, sexual and asexual, they could do it via the two way. no longer whilst some organism does the sexual way and the different one the asexual, how is it benefical for persons that have the alternative of two at the same time duplicate? i ought to discover this answer.
