Please advise me on any good performance monitoring softwares for Oracle Database. Budget is no issue.

I want to find and fix performance bottlenecks in Oracle Database (Oracle 9i Rel2), as well as generate graphs on statistics collected over a period of time.

At present I am evaluating:

1) Spotlight® on Oracle from Quest Software
2) DB Tools for Oracle from SoftTree Technologies

A typical performance monitoring tool has:

Hi,

Spotlight and DB Tools both are best tool. For more you can use Oracle Enterprise Manager Console OEM. These three are enough tool for managing database and performance management too.

All the best.

Have you tried MindArray IPM?

I am using MindArray IPM's Oracle Database Performance Monitoring tool from last one year.

sq. is the undemanding question language for Database engines. MySQL, PostgreSQL, firebird sq. and SQLite (my widespread) are some unfastened ones obtainable for all systems and the syntax would not variety plenty between them. all of them incorporate documentation. MS sq. show is obtainable for domicile windows yet has countless overhead. MySQL is the main standard, PostgreSQL has the main useful aspects and SQLite is the main transportable.
