I've used it before and once you get it trained it runs very smoothly (you don't technically need to train it, but it helps). It even adds punctuation, unlike almost any other speech recognition. Once I hooked up a recorded speech by my professor and it typed it out with next to no errors.

I think so. Dragon NaturallySpeaking 10 installs quickly and requires no special script reading. New on-screen help and tutorials will make you an expert user in no time.
