The same "Setup cannot find Office.en-us\msvcr80.dll" problem is ocurring in my pc also..i tried diff setups of office, but then also it keeps showing the same message..what to do..?..any1..~

Download the msvcr80.dll file from http://www.dll-world.com/files/msvcr80_dll.html and show the location while installing office. If this is the only file missing while installation then the rest should go smoothly. But if the installation shows other files are missing as well, then it because of corrupted OS or for malware /virus. Install a fresh copy of antivirus and clean your PC first before trying to install office.

replace you msvcr80.dll. go to below link and download the dll file.

download the file and put it in the same folder where old file is stored. you will be asked to replace, click yes.

Your installer is corrupt and I asked you to burn again your MS Office Installer if you own the licensed original one.

If the Original DVD installer is the one that is corrupt, then replace the DVD from your vendor or you can download it again from the Microsoft Store.
