I have Access 2003, can I view projects made in Access 2007?

My friend send me some things made in Access 2007, can I somehow convert these or do something so I can view these in my Access 2003?

Scenario: You have Access 2003 = earlier file format (.mdb)

You are given Access 2007 Files = new file format (.accdb)



Simply put the file types are currently not backwards compatiable. People with 2007 can open any previous Access file types, but 2003 and earlier can't open the new file types.



I have the same problem with a friend that uses Office 2007 and saves with the file Microsoft word .DOC file type and it opens as Jibberish on Word 2003.

Yes, but you have to install the converters. Go to Microsoft's site and download and install the converters. Then you will be able to open any Office 2007 files. The link is as follows:
