Is there any software that can tell you your current geolocation in the world?

I have a laptop and I want to know if there's any software that can track my current geolocation and tell me where I am. I tried using my IP address and where ever I go, it tells me the same location.

P.s: My OS is Windows 7 64-bit.

Actually, this is more of a hardware issue.



To get an accurate geolocation you would need a GPS location device.



Getting a location from an IP Address is very inaccurate as it will only give you the location of where the ISP is at. Which can be several miles away from you.



There are ways to get an accurate location from IP address and Mobile cell towers, but that requires special permission from the service provider and is only allowed by police and government.

Ya sure you can but you will have to buy a GPS module for your computer. You can get Microsoft streets and trips 2011 which comes with a module and software. However I suggest just getting a gps.
