Okay so here's exactly what happened:
I wanted to move my desktop icons into a folder. But then i decided to move them back out so i highlighted them and moved them to my desktop. But now, the folder called 'Pictures!' (it's for my pictures lol) is saying 'missing short cut' and it's 'browsing' so i let it 'browse' and it came up with this file thing called, "Application Data" So now when I try to open the file it goes to "Application Data" HOW DO I GET MY PICTURES BACK!?!?!?!?!??! Please please please answer! Please and thank you! 10 points for whoever helps me the best!!!

Thanks in advance!!!

Hello there! :-)

Do you mean the shortcut to the folder named Pictures aint correct ?

Well if thats the problem, you could just Right click the "shortcut" and theres a spot to fill in "Path/Source" .

if you dont know what the path is, you could always search through your computer to find your Picture folder :-). But mostly it should be C:\Documents and settings\My Pictures

Really depends what version of windows ur using :-)

Hope it works out, if not post some more info about the problem and i help ya out!

As long as you didn't delete anything then you should still have your pictures. I am assuming that you are using Windows XP. If so do the following. Go to

Start

then

Search

then

Pictures, Music and Videos

then select

Pictures and Photos

then click

Search

I have over 10,000 pictures on my hard drives. I have them in multiple folders, depending on the topic. But if you had most of your pics in one folder this will show you where. Good luck.

Oh, by the way. This will show you ALL graphics, including icons. So when you search you can use advanced search to specify what size the graphic files should be.

first of all delete that icon out of your very own computing gadget. next click on initiate and then click on your person call, your pictures folder would desire to now be seen interior the window that opens, suited click on it and decide "deliver to" from the pop-up menu and decide "pc create shortcut" from the subsequent menu.
