I uninstalled Microsoft Outlook six months ago because it became corrupted. Today I have reinstalled it, but I cannot access my email or load the program because it asks for the .PST file which I no longer have.

How do I solve this?

You should have stated your version of Outlook and your operating system. Right now we have 3 operating systems and 3 versions of Outlook that people are commonly using.

This answer is for outlook 2007 running on Windows 7. But see if the steps will help you if that is not the setup you have:

Click round start button, in the search box type the word mail. Click mail link that appears. Then click the "DATA FILES" button. If any .PST files appear, highlight them and delete them. If they do not appear, then click close and go to the next step.

If above doesn't work, then click the "SHOW PROFILES" button. Outlook should appear. Delete it. Then you can click the "ADD" button and add a new one. You can name it anything you want. But now you can open Outlook again.
