Something has changed in my program. When you right click on an object, a menu pops up and properties would be listed. But now, it's gone. Also, the copy function when you right click is not working correctly either. I'm trying to copy an object from one file to another, so I would right click and choose copy. but now, it wouldn't let me copy. Did I change my settings somehow??? HOw do I fix this?

Check under tools/options/user preferences to control what your right click does. Did you install a new mouse? Some drivers have their own customizing control for the various mouse buttons. Check the mouse setup to see if it's conflicting or possibly disabled. Unlikely but it's worth a look. If that doesn't do it, my only suggestion is to uninstall and reinstall the mouse. Autocad by default uses the right click as you use to have it. There are some obscure mouse controls in the registry, look for a key with the name of your mouse driver, logitech, microsoft. If all else fails, remove them from the registry and reinstall the mouse. That should do it.

like the previous poster mentioned your settings got changed in the prefernces in options, stuff like that just happens sometimes dont know why.

as a side note, ctrl+c and ctrl+v work just like that copy /paste

in the popup, FYI

you can drag and drop objects too.

good luck.
