Question about a downloaded FREE TRIAL program: Will program run if uninstall and reinstall before trial ends?

I have a downlaoded free trial of a keylogger I like. I am buying it tomorrow, but this is when my trial runs out, so I will not get the program for another week. SO here's the deal: If I uninstall the program before the trial ends, then reinstall it, will I get another free trial? Or will it say I already used it and mustbuy now?

it may work.. another option would be to set your clock back a day.

9 out of 10 programs will bury some date in the registry - so if you uninstall and reinstall, date will still be there and program will become inactive.

You could try regedit to edit the registry - use find command and enter name of program or part of name and see what comes up

Finally grasping at straws - youcould try using a restore point thats earlier than the date you downloaded and installed the program - then reinstalling might work

It might work (depending on the program). You have a better chance if you un-install, and make sure all files are deleted from it, and then download it and install it again.
