How do I stop iTunes from automatically downloading new Podcasts?

click on unsubscribe. if you want to subscribe again, just click subscribe

Whatever device (iPod, Itouch or iPhone) you have click on the actual device and once you enter that there will be a screen on the top there a several tabs click on the tab saying podcasts there you will find the coniguration options and select manually sync and you should be fine.

carry down the play button. If that doesn't artwork, carry the menu button and the choose for button down at the same time for roughly 15 seconds, it resets you iPod, yet does no longer delete any songs or something :)
