I am trying to make a pdf from a word document which includes colour graphs using Adobe distiller. The graphs were originally pasted from Excel. The problem is when I distill the word doc the graphs come out in black and white, yet another image in the file is in colour. Perhaps it's something to with the image format? Anyone any suggestions?

Have you tried...

File, then print, then under printer name, select adobe PDF. Create a name and location for your file when saving. This will write your document to a PDF file.

Or you may need to recolor the graph.... After you import it, click on the graph, then use the fill-in to color. Then do the above paragraph to create the adobe pdf. I tested the above (not importing a graph but using Excel) and it came out in color. Good luck.

Go to print, select Adobe PDF as your printer, click on page set up, then click on sheet, then uncheck "Black and white".

This should produce a color PDF from an Excel file

Convert the file into a pdf format.
