You can download videos from Youtube and add them to iTunes or any other media player. Youtube takes media (Mpeg/mpg,avi,wmv,mov) and converts them to flash (FLV). But you can convert them back.

you cannot edit a .FLV file . that mean Flash Video not like the other video type's .. sry
