Recently, I made some videos with my camera and I really want to put them on a DVD to watch om my TV. Is there any free open source programs which will convert AVI files and others into a DVD format and burn the whole thing onto a DVD?

DVDflick is a nice free dvd burning software, and here is a guide about how to download and use it

I'd prefer using this all-in-one dvd creator, my friends recommend it to me, it's not free, but it's easy to use and works pretty well, I think it worth the money. If you are insterested in it, you may take a look at this guide

Hope it helps, email me if you need further help.
