Hi, I don't think any of them r better looking than Vista for now.
Vista has the best interface I have ever seen and the only other thing that competes with Vista's looks is Aqua of Mac OS X.
KDE4 the GUI Environment for Linux is trying to improve the default looks though.
I suggest u try openSUSE or Mandriva since they actually focus on looks and ease of use and have a GUI for everything, they r very stable.

I don't know why I got a thumbs down, its the truth Linux GUI's r horribly ugly compared to Windows or OS X, compiz fusion is just eye candy, it doesn't make your system look good does it?
