How do I enable macros in ms word 2003.?

In Word click on Tools, Options, select the Security Tab, go to the bottom then click on the Macro Security button and select Medium and click OK. From then on Word will ask you if you want to enable macros (only do so if you know the sender of the document has created the macro or is aware of the macro).
