I am trying to reformat my friend's PC. It has aids. I am trying to cure aids... so it feels. Anyway, When I type format /q c: I get "The type of the file system is NTFS. Enter current volume label for drive C:".
Perfect... so I type vol C: and the volume in drive C is "X" and Volume Serial Number is "Y"
When I enter "X" when I receive the "The type of the file system is NTFS. Enter current volume label for drive C:" message it still returns "An incorrect colume label was entered for this drive"...How is that possible???
I ultimately want to just re install windows on her labby. Any suggestions????
Thanks
