I found these free PM software applications, anyone have any feedback on what each is best for? I know there are pay software options, but I am looking for a good free PM software thats easy to use.

The three of the project management software you have mentioned are good and here is brief idea about them:

Binfire.com offer project monitoring tool that improves team productivity and lets you manage several projects at a time. If you have complete access then you can see the status of all projects in one page. Project review feature let you monitor each project, increase development speed, improves team communication and collaboration.

Traffiklite.com offer easy and quick time tracking of complete time spent on a project, one-click file sharing, easy file storage to keep all files connected, quick expand and compress view of project, without digging detail you can get project status view as on Hold, Go or needs attention and finaaly offers comments and collaboration in social network.

Freecrm.com is web-based CRM software for sales force automation (SFA). It is one of the best tool lead tracking, contact management, business management, forecasting and customer service.

Few free project management software are: GanttProject, Clocking IT, TaskJuggler, jxProject, ProjectPier, Project HQ, dotProject.

Few are available with free trial for short time, these are: No kahuna, Copper

activeCollab, Lighthouse.

Another very good project management software available at affordable cost is Digité Enterprise that will help you efficiently execute projects by project planning, collaboration, timesheet management, risk management, issue tracking.

Hi, how many users do you plan on having? If you are the only user, then, you can use Axosoft's OnTime (http://www.axosoft.com/) for free (not a trial or anything like that).

If you have more than 1 user and you have to have it be free.. try taking a look at:

Codendi, redmine, projectpier, or trac - They are all popular open source PM's.

You can use Team Task Manager for free if you only have a small number of users and projects. It's intuitive and has no learning curve. Download here - http://www.deskshare.com/team-task-management.aspx
