How can I stop my windows update from finding updates for my microsoft office 2007?

I still want to have automatic updating for my windows VISTA but i don't want windows update to find updates for my Microsoft Office 2007.

When you go into the windows update screen, there should be some small text saying something like "see a list of all updates." When you go into this screen, you can un-check any of the updates that you don't want windows update to install. You will have to do this every time. I don't think there's a way to stop updating office in general.
I can't see any reason not to update office, though. It is generally a good idea to keep everything up to date.

You can't, you either get updates for both or none... You can not separate the updates... But you can uncheck the MS Office update boxes when the MS updates come in, this will cancel the updates for MS Office in that season
