How can i download or install Windows Media Player for Windows 10?

I think i somehow uninstalled not sure how, but when i tried to find the download site for Windows Media Player Site on Microsoft's official Windows site. I can't seem to find the download button or the download section for Windows Media Player and not quite sure which operating system would be compatible with Windows 10 as Windows 10 is not yet listed on that site all i see is Windows 8.1, but there is no where to download it. Can you help me find a way to download and install Windows Media Player.

My computer is a Windows 10 Home Edition and is a Toshiba if that matters.

If you have Windows 10 N, the version without Media Player, it can be downloaded from Microsoft.

I think PCs with the N version of Windows are sold in Europe so if your PC isn't European then you have Media Player installed already but it might be disabled if you can't find it in Start. Type 'windows features' without the quotes then navigate to Media Features. I imagine that Windows Media Player can be found there and should already be checked.



Edit: Press Start/Windows logo on your keyboard, type 'windows features' and the you'll see 'Turn Windows Features on or off' in the search results. Give that a click or hit the Enter key and the Windows Features dialog window will open. Scroll down to find Media Features. If it's checked then you have Windows Media Player installed. Check it to install Windows Media Player.



Use search again to find WMP.

Give up your windows media player.Windows 10 OS doesn't have this player. I recommend you use the vlc media player or dvdfab free media player.Both of them are very nice for you.

Use the search box windows media player and send it to your task bar its still their. So is old internet explorer

Click the Start Button & start typing Media Player.

Search will open with the results
