please help me with mozilla thunderbird?

i cannot use thunderbird with my yahoo! mail account. when i try to send mail i get the following error message:

sending of message failed.
this message could not be sent because connecting to smtp server mail.yahoo.com failed. the server may be unavailable or is refusing smtp connections. please verify that your smtp server setting is correct and try again.

what am i doing wrong?

If you are sure of your settings, (including username and password) the problem is on yahoo side.

If your Internet provider is not yahoo, you must likely to use the SMTP server of your provider instead

Mozilla Thunderbird is a loose digital mail client with physically powerful good factors. we will not learn Thunderbird with MS Outlook, it is very stronger digital mail application for versatile objective.

uninstall it, reboot, then reinstall
