I run Win2000 at home. It works great for me and my kids. It's totally stable, plays the kids games, not a resource hog. I love it. I was using 98 until MS quit support for it back in July. A buddy of mine had a still shrink wrapped, legitimate copy of Win2000 and he gave it to me.

I'm using Windows 2000 on my old laptop. No problem with Word, Photoshop or Dreamweaver. My laptop's microprocessor and memory are more of a problem because so slow on digital imaging.

Have XP on other machines and doing fine. Don't plan to have Vista before I buy next computer. All people don't need all upgrades!

i have windows XP and happy with it. I've heard the vista has many, many flaws, not to speak about it is useless with some programms (still).

i think as the windows series are advancing in versions it's getting, i don't know... weird

I have Windows XP and have no desire to upgrade. Like yahoo, window's new products are offen bug riddled and cumbersome. Unfortuantely, new software upgrades are desigend for the latest OS and old systems eventually become obsolete.

Forget Windows. I use a variant of Unix from 1978!

I upgraded to vista because i like the new and it is also more advanced. it is just like everyone who hated the 6.0L powerstroke engine for the superduty then by the time (almost) everyone loved it it was replaced
