It's now not a W 7 CD, it is a W 7 DVD. So, ensure the your force is no less than a DVD-ROM Drive. And, if it is an Upgrade DVD (Read the Factory LABEL), you need to insert the DVD at the same time your older variation of Windows is walking. FYI: You are not able to Cold Boot to a W 7 Upgrade DVD. A W 7 OEM, or complete Retail DVD? Yes, those will bloodless boot. TIP: If the disk is honestly a W 7 Recovery DVD (that you just burned your self, as told within the PC User Manual) now not a W 7 Upgrade DVD, the W 7 Recovery Instructions to be used, are to your PC User Manual.

Your boot is messed up so I would borrow somebody's Startup Repair disk, if they have one. If not, you can make one on another Windows 7 machine by going to the Control Panel, select Backup and Restore and from there, Create Startup Repair disk to burn the startup CD.
You didn't say what kind of machine you have, but some vendors put a Recover Partition on them that you have to hit F3 or Del when you are booting up to access. The Startup Repair disk is the easiest way to restore your system if the problems are not major.

u have to press F10 or F11 it's one of those del is for Bios etc u have no need to press dell F8 is for safe mode so it must be F10 or F 11 but try F11 first.
