Garrys mod addons problems...(standalone 10 version...)?

Question

Okay,i downloaded garrys mod standalone,non-steam version,and i ran it without problems,played it and had fun.The problems began when i tried to put addons...I downloaded some addons and put them in the addons folder...i ran gmod and when i opened the addon map it was all weird,some red error signs were hanging around and some textures were just purple-black squares...

Oh,yea and it said when i ran the map "Node graph out of date,rebuilding..."
Plz help someone!

Sorry, but there is no way to update the standalone version.



I suggest you asking your parents nicely to get it for you, if they don't trust the site say to them that's its a major company selling it and if they do anything you can go against them and win.



Garry's Mod is also allot funner online, so Good luck with convincing.

The stand alone version is not up to date with all of the new LUA scripts that the addons are dependent on, which cause them to not work properly.



By the game trust me, i did over the weekend with tf2 in a package, and it is so much better than the stand alone version! You wont be disappointed!

try deleting the add on and reinstalling, this is why i dnt screw with pc games, or any online * so called gaming pc games, valve, steam, ect..its all ****, stick to consoles kid
