I was once told that Windows Movie Maker only works with .avi extension movie files. If this is still true, you will need to convert your .flv file to an .avi using conversion software (you may be able to do this in Flash if your have the program, exporting the movie as a different file type), or try using a different movie editing program. Hope this helps.

When you install Gomplayer, you have a replacement for all the other media drives. Gomplayer is free and plays all file types.

FLV to maximum video formats is and has constantly been a soreness and there are merely some if any "reliable" and "unfastened" converters. i think of VLC is your ultimate determination. its unfastened and can play a super array or formats and it may additionally transcode to different formats. stick to the step with the help of step educational under (source)
