Why can't i uninstall windows? I get an error message: cannot uninstall windows important registration files..

Question

cannot uninstall windows important registration files are missing.
That's from trying to uninstall it through command prompt.

I can't uninstall it from the add or remove programs list because it is not there.

Do you mean the operating system? If you want to do that you have to reformat the hard drive, you do that by when u turn on the computer it says either push F12 or F8 for options i forgot which one and you go from there, but if you uninstall the operating system you cant use your computer so im guessing you have another operating system or your going to reinstall windows?

You can't uni nstall teh windows because



1) You are using it as you delete it.

2) It is the thing that makes your computer work



Just put in the Windows installer disc and reformat your hard drive. Or just go to your boot menu via pressing F12 as you start the computer, and format it like that.
