I have a pretty good computer, its a Dell XPS Generation 5 with an updated graphics card (rated 6.8 on Windows) and 4GB of brand new ram (not cheap brand either) .. 250GB HDD and everything works perfect.. except iTunes. I've never had a problem before with iTunes not opening but for some reason when I installed the 32 bit version after reformatting pc with 32 bit windows 7 ultimate, iTunes won't launch when I click it from start menu, desktop, or even in the iTunes programs folder. If it does open, it takes at least 20 minutes and it's very annoying. I've tried everything the internet suggested like ending the task in processes.. removing Bonjour, reinstalling, installing quicktime, reinstalling iTunes and quicktime, ending iTunes helper process.. and I'm very upset! iTunes doesn't even have an easy to find email address! They SUCK! Pleasssseee Help?

ITunes kind of sucks. Sounds like you need to clean your hard drive and check for viruses. If you don't already have antivirus I recommend Microsoft security essentials run a full scan (it will take a few hours) also install spybot s&d and run a scan on that. Finally download Ccleaner clean your c drive and also go into the registry cleaner and run that. You should notice your computer going a lot faster after that and maybe you can even try defraging your computer too!!

Get rid of that Apple garbage. Your problems will vanish. Why the general public buys ANY of that over priced, incompatible and proprietary garbage astounds me. Itunes for one has to watch everything you do, limits when and where you can even move media, etc.. You can copy and paste media on a PC anywhere, any time, on any other pc or storage device without some bullshit software. Why do you people insist on letting Apple control everything you do?

goto apple.com and get the latest itunes, before that uninstall your current one, and remove its entire directory from Program Files, then install this itunes in a different folder when your installing, check your hard drive for errors, (right click on c:, goto properties, tools, under scandisk check now, and select only the first option and select ok and yes so it starts the next time you restart your pc) hopefully that should get it right....

Mmm...Did you try restarting your PC?...Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes (10.6.1.7) If yes and still does not work,Try CopyTransManager. It helps you do everything that you normally would but w/o iTunes..

Good luck :)
