It's an iBook G3, of course you can't install Snow Leopard 10.6 on it. The best it can do is Tiger 10.4. If you were a little bit crazy, you could try to install Leopard 10.5 and maybe have some marginal success, but trying to install Snow Leopard is beyond insane. You must be completely unaware, but the bare minimum system requirements for Snow Leopard are something like "must be a Mac 10 years newer than your G3."
Look, get a Tiger install disk, reinstall Mac OS X, and it will be fine. Ask your Mac friends if they have a Tiger install disk, or else try to find one on ebay.

Snow Leopard requires an Intel CPU. The G3 is far too old. It's a PowerPC chip. It is outright impossible to run Snow Leopard on that iBook, end of story. Read the system requirements next time and be sure you know what they mean.

Snow Leopard demands an Intel CPU. The G3 is plenty too previous. that's a PowerPC chip. that's outright impossible to run Snow Leopard on that iBook, end of tale. learn the gadget standards next time and make valuable you pay interest to what they propose.

Snow Leopard will not run on PPC chips. It requires an Intel chip. Your Mac is too old to run it.
