I want to make labels with a logo on. In Word, I found the correct label brand and size but it will only allow text to be entered. Is there a way round this, or will I be forced to set out the sheet by eye?

Yes -- you can use images on labels. Here's how:

1. Set up your labels. Go to Tools > Letters and Mailing > Envelops and Labels.

2. Find the label of your choice and click on "New Document"

3. Click inside a label and Go to Insert > Picture.... and add your image.

4. Right-click the image and click "format picture."

5. In the "layout" tab, select "tight" so you can more easily manipulate the placement of your image. Add your text where you want it in that label.

6. Select all the text in your first label, copy and paste it into other labels. Once you get a few labels the way you want them, you can select many labels at a time then copy and paste them all at once.

I hope this helps!!

Following on from the above, but additionally, you could split your labels into two columns and have your picture 'In Line with Text' within a cell on its own and that way it won't influence the text in the same cell.
