Hi,

The program itself is not a virus or trojan or even malware. The reason it is not uninstalling is because the Install.log or Install.dat file this program generated when you installed it has become corrupted.

If you go into your programs folder you ought to be able to manually uninstall it there.

I'll assume your root directory is C:

Thus, goto C:\Program Files\Full Speed Internet Booster + Performance Test

Open that Full speed folder.

Inside you will most likely see either an application file called Uninstall.exe, or Unwise.exe

Note!!!   As .exe files are a common file extension you may not see .exe after those file names, but if you look in the "Type" column it will say its an Application so you can assume this is an .exe file.

You should also see the Executable file for the full speed program.

To manually uninstall it, left-click the full speed application file with mouse and HOLD button down, then drag mouse cursor and drop the file ontop of either Uninstall.exe or Unwise.exe and release the left mouse button.

This will begin the uninstall of the program.

Once done, simply delete the Full Speed Internet Booster folder if still present.

will agree it MAY be a virus, BUT i am scared of virus's. If your virus program didn't stop it, you may be playing with fire. MY ADVICE... Once I get a problem and can't fix it. I re-install. This may be extreme but here is the problem. If you don't get the virus OUT, it could still be on the system. I don't depend on virus cleaning programs. IF they really worked, you would never get a virus. New virus can not be caught because the virus PROGRAM does not know about it. When the virus program (and the owner of the virus program) find out about it, they make a cleaner. Well if you already got the virus first,it's too late. You have to clean it or wait for them to make a cleaner for it.

So I say backup your system monthly.(to save your files) then install a clean copy of your OS

Now one other thing, some programs can not be un-installed because you system is using it. That may be why you can't uninstall. And the note "Invalid uninstall file" makes me think someone used delete to remove a directory or file. The backup information to return the system to the state it was before changes were made is gone so the system can not return it to the state it was before the program was installed.

You can try the program that the others listed, but be warned the virus (if it is one) may not be removed. their is a way to uninstall by booting to safe mode, but it's easy to kill the system and loose everything.... Tech use it. but between you and me reinstall your operating system, unless you have a lot of personal files, or don't have a OS disk. Then the safe boot system will work best.

Use Revo uninstaller and try to see if you can erase this program. If not then download Malwarebytes to a Flash drive (USB) and start your computer in safe mode with networking (not necessary though, its just to update MB's database). Install it and perform a full-scan, if your computer has a virus it will detect it. After the scan is finished delete the found viruses (or cookies, etc) and restart the computer. Now on normal mode perform a full-scan again and if nothing comes up then it means it is clean. After you finish using MB (Malwarebytes) erase it, it might get in the way of your antivirus (not that much though). Hope this helps.

This must be a virus, download a simple software named malware byte, download the free version, update it and run a quick scan.

ITS A VIRUS... save all the files you need and then go to factory settings
