Where can i find A pdf to dxf converter free download? Very difficult if you ask me ,or am i just being blind?

I google it for you. Unfortunately, it seems there is no freeware that could do this conversion. They are all commercial. I think CAD is not cheap first of all, so how can this convert tools be cheap? lol, Good luck

inkscape can import pdf and export dxf, I haven't tried it myself though so I don't know how useful the resulting files will be. Expect the production of the pdf to have destroyed any information that isn't directly visible on th page but if it's 2D diagrams they should hopefully be preserved OK.

I'm quite sure you wont find one... There are plenty of dxf to pdf (or many file formats TO pdf, but pdf to dxf is a very different matter all together.

Just one easy explanation why is... dxf incorporates 3D aspects, where as pdf is a picture and text based format. It would be like trying to change a .dll system file to a .exe ... they work on different principles.

Add: You can import images and other text/picture files "into" a dxf drawing but not convert, as long as you have to relative software on your PC and/or the dxf application supports the import (depending on the dxf application itself, such as Autocad supports imports.)

You're not blind, there just aren't any FREE solutions.



They're all commercial. Just buy it...or...on the dark side of things, get a "modified" version if you know what I mean...
