Question:
In a word document my table won't go on to two pages?

I have to write a unit of work for an assignment on my uni course. I've set this up as a table in a word document, however, instead of going down on to a second page, once the table doesn't fit on the first page any more, it just disappears of the bottom of the page. Does anybody know why this is, and how to fix it??
Thanks :o)

Your description makes me wonder if you haven't given Word an impossible situation: A row with more lines than can be shown on one page, but with the row set to not break across pages. Check this out:

1. Right-click in the last row that appears on the page and select Table Properties.

2. Click the Row tab.

3. If Allow Row to Break Across Pages is not checked, check it.

4. Click OK.

Hope that helps.

If you want your table to continue onto another page, make a page break just as you would at any other time. In the first column of the row which you want to move to the next page, just use Ctrl Enter.

if u have office word 2007, then on the lower right hand side of the screen, theres a zoom button. make it so that u can see one or more pages on the screen. good luck!
