I have installed Command & Conquer: Red Alert on my Toshiba that uses XP, by using the Windows Compatibility Wizard, but only the DOS version will work, and the sound does not work correctly. When I try to open the regular version an error comes up saying "....... No entry point found." I did not use the Red Alert Manager because I didn't know it existed until today when I was researching a better way to get it to work on my computer. I am perfectly willing to re-install a different way if anyone thinks that the way I installed it is not the best way and that a different way can get it to work better. Please help. Thank you.

FYI: I did not download Red Alert from the internet. I am using old CD's that my cousin bought in the 90's, if that matters.

That is a very old game. I was able to run in it in XP with the DOS version but you will not be able to play against others on a network or online since protocols do not work in XP. There is some patches but it will still crash. But your best bet is to put a old computer together with 95 or 98se or attempt to run it in a DOS BOX in XP.

some video games are in common terms made 4 duel middle processors however the greater present day video games use quad middle that must be your subject, additionally your processor is in basic terms 2.2 thats no longer great, each thing else seams prety stable.
